snow days & frosted mini wheats

in the event of inclement weather, a SNOW DAY is granted. somehow i managed to graduate high school and college in Utah without any such days (much to my chagrin), so you can imagine my jubilation when i woke up to see the blizzard outside my window and a text message stating that schools are closed today. i am enjoying my first SNOW DAY of life on this very groundhog day, 2015. it's a little different to celebrate a SNOW DAY as an adult; i have chosen to fill my time with budgeting, poetry, yoga, and planning a weekly meal schedule. i feel slightly guilty for not rushing to a sledding hill with the new $5 sled i bought from walmart last week, but perhaps the best part about this SNOW DAY is that i get to choose how to spend an entire 24 hours.

and perhaps the worst part about this SNOW DAY is that i have four boxes of frosted mini wheats and no milk.
