I learned a few things about Detroit this weekend:
- It was formerly known as the PARIS OF THE WEST.
- The city was built to hold over 2 million humans, but is now home to well under 1 million.
- Only 40% of the streetlights work
- I saw more abandoned buildings and strip clubs than I've seen anywhere else in the world.
The day was particularly gloomy, and the city was eerily vacant. I am surprised/grateful that we were not eaten by zombies. Also, I like being with this red-bearded human.
