Today I was out taking pictures on Center Street for my photography class when a homeless man rode his bike up to me and asked me what I was photographing. He thought it was weird that I was taking pictures of Chinese lanterns outside of a restaurant. We had a brief conversation, and then his wife rode over as well. The second she saw me just looked down at my legs and exclaimed that she loved my purple stockings (tights). I have never been more delighted to receive a compliment.
New goal: compliment a stranger every day for the next 2 weeks.

I love getting compliments from strangers too!! It is the best, even if they are homeless. I think I shall make this my goal as well!
