on life, mainly nature

too often the meaningless becomes meaningful. life gets too bogged down in the "oh i just erased my entire music collection from my ipod" and "wait, so how should i phrase this text?" and "let me spend a billion hours studying for this midterm that in the end i'll probably fail anyway."

i like how fresh air and sunshine and shadows and rocks bring clarity. and i like when i can sit in my house at 8:58 pm and relive (via photo) the sun reflecting off the snow and the juxtaposition of gushing water and frozen water and all sorts of other lovely things.

photography adventures of the day :

glow

i like the giant mess in the foreground and the promise of beauty/serenity behind it.

human meets nature

not my favorite of all the pics...but everyone should be wishing they were sitting in a pile of snow staring and gushing water and frozen water and blue icicles. all day. erryday.

utah lake. golden hour. peace peace peace.

let's talk about how the sky and the mountains were the same color, different textures. life is like that...sort of monotonous/boring/everything blends together. but then suddenly you figure out that lines are going every which way and colors are showing up in unexpected places and everything is a lot more interesting than you thought. and beautiful...much more beautiful than you thought.

I'm kind of obsessed with these. And with how brilliantly creative your mind is.
