one of my favorite things about God is that i get to talk to Him without reservation/hesitation/screening/being tactful/beating around the bush. humans have this thing where we are fragile and insecure and suck at communicating. we fear rejection. we hate saying what we actually mean. we keep ourselves guarded because we don't trust each other. so that's the cool thing about God -- with Him we don't have to be afraid of those things. we speak. He listens. He talks back. the best kind of conversation.
