i happen to like deadlines and pressure. they make me feel alive and productive. not having something to work towards in my life makes me feel stagnant and directionless (obviously).
i like it when i have a 5 page essay to turn in by midnight. i like frantically searching for academic journal articles and letting my words spill out on the page...first as a messy/awkward explosion, and then they magically take shape into something that makes sense.
i actually enjoy spending 12 hour days running around with a giant/urgent to-do list.
don't be fooled by my complaining. i will tell you i'm miserable and stressed, but i am [often] secretly thriving on all the pressure.
then again, maybe i don't love things like this all the time. idkmybffjill.
but i do love this song all the time.
